Size 10.5 d, according to the tag inside the boots, but vintage sizing does vary so we recommend double-checking the measurements below to be sure. Size: us men’s 10.5 d. Heel to toe length 12 inches. Total height of boots 13.5 inches (bottom of heel to top of boot). Sole width (at its widest point) 4 inches. Calf opening width 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches. The inside of the boot is marked, “9288138 16729 10 1/2 d – 168 – 10 – 83, ” along with a “dan post” tag inside one of the boots. The bottom of the heel is also marked, dan post el paso. In good vintage condition overall, with some general wear due to age, such as surface scratches, scuffs, creases, wear to the leather in places (especially around the toes and heels), spots, dings, etc. The original insoles of the shoes appear to be missing, and have been replaced with soft fabric insoles, but these can be easily replaced. The soles suggest that these shoes have been worn-in and well-loved, but still have life left in them. No major visible damage. Could use a bit of gentle cleaning/polishing to bring out their full potential. We think the wear only enhances this pair’s vintage character.
